This document is a poster about the civil war in Sudan. A marketing campaign to promote « Beyond the news » a TV commercial of the new French channel, France 24. We can imagine that the African continent is sinking and only the Darfur area remains on the surface wherefrom the slogan« Darfur beyond the news ». It dates from 2006.  It's a low angle shot, composed of two parts representing on the one hand the deep blue of the oceans and on the other hand the sky.The pack shot is translated into various languages (Arabic,French,English...).The metaphor, in which we compare the African continent with an iceberg shows the hidden face of the information revealed to us. The objective picture which is a radiography is to show that information reveals the things which we do not see.
