COMMUNICATION - TECHNIQUES: Quadrichromy... Clémentine Lepetit | |||
TEXT: Quadrichromy is a technique in printing using superimposed layers of colors : Cyan, magenta, yellow and key. We use it everyday in a printer that's why we have two ink cartridges, one for black and the other for the colors. Primary colors allow us to obtain a wide palette of colors. For a good printing, every raster requires a specific angle, cyan needs to be 15°, magenta 75°, yellow 0°, and key 45°. If the angles aren't respected, watering will form and the printing would be unpleasant. Watering is an interference of the reproduced image by creation of geometrical tasks caused by a difference in orientation of the raster axis. VOCABULARY: Quadrichromy : quadrichromie` |
